The Renovation Wave initiative is one of the cornerstones of the Green New Deal for a more sustainable Europe. This workshop highlighted how the renovation wave can be boosted through structured and holistic approaches which have been implemented through RenoZEB and three H2020 Sister Projects, with the use of specifically developed innovative solutions which will support and accelerate the NZEB renovation in Europe.
All projects presented not only new technological solutions, but also innovative ways to address some of the known barriers for the wide implementation of renovation recommendations across Europe, especially in the residential sector. Empowering the end-user to participate in the wave, by helping to create a varied and understandable plan of simple, fast and affordable solutions, is the common goal of all these projects and ensures innovation benefits for all concerned sectors and stakeholders.
